Regarding The UPS Strike
What's Happening:
UPS's union has gone on strike, and that will impact shipping costs for a small number of customers using Standard Service. Our small business also uses FedEx and USPS every day, so we do not expect orders to be delayed in processing. We're firing on all cylinders here in New England! 
Express Shipped Orders:
All Express-Shipped orders from NEHERP are through FedEx, not UPS. Shipping and processing times on Express Service will not be impacted, and prices will not change.
Standard Shipped Orders:
The UPS Strike may impact the shipping cost of some customers who select "Standard Shipping" during checkout. Our website automatically calculates and bills the cheapest possible method between UPS, USPS, and FedEx. In the event that an order which would have shipped UPS can't ship using FedEx or USPS service for a comparable rate to what is billed during checkout, our team may reach out via email with a custom link to cover the difference in shipping cost. This temporary inconvenience should only impact a very small percentage of clients, and the cost cost differences to most of those who are impacted will be very minor. In the event that a shipping expense is cost prohibitive, clients may cancel an order for a refund or put the order on hold to wait out the strike. No pressure, no worries. Our goal is to get through the UPS strike together, and make it as easy as possible.
Processing Schedule:
NEHERP will not be impacted by this strike directly. We will be fully staffed, and expect to process and ship orders at full speed during this time. In the unlikely event that additional funds become necessary to cover the FedEx/USPS expense, please be sure to respond ASAP to ensure your order can process & ship on schedule. FedEx and USPS may be a little overwhelmed by being handed all of UPS's packages, but we've got faith they'll do their best to stay on schedule.
Live Arrival Guarantee:
Our awesome Live Arrival Guarantee still applies to all qualifying shipping methods. Even if UPS and FedEx get backed-up and overwhelmed by the deluge of would-be UPS orders coming through, our NEHERP Live Arrival Guarantee persists. Rest assured, we've got your back!
