They make an awesome sampler or starter plant pack for terrariums, vivariums, or even to start a collection. All plants in this assortment will be 3in pots, or well established rooted/rhizome portions of proportionate size. The plants we include are likely to be found on this page, and some may be listed in the "Sold Out/Reserved" section below. Unlisted terrarium appropriate varieties are less likely, but may be included depending on our availability. There will be no repeat species included in 3-5 packs, and we'll do our best to include a great looking variety. Duplicate species are likely if more than 7 plants are ordered. Only true Begonias will be sent. (No Saxifraga, etc) All NEHERP plant packs require a minimum average of 55% relative humidity.

The NEHERP Terrarium Moss does best when planted terrestrially, and has been proven to grow exceptionally well on our Substrate Base Kits. NEHERP Moss Slurry is designed to be grown on hardscape decor like Custom Backgrounds, rocks, and wood decor. Both varieties require access to plenty of PAR light and higher levels of humidity to acclimate properly. A budget-friendly way to pick up an assortment of our high quality air plants. This is a great way to save on some of the more basic air plants we work with, and is an especially good choice for enthusiasts looking to try out Tillandsias in their enclosures. Some of the species likely to be included are T. aeranthos, T. albertiana, T. ionantha 'Mexican', T ionantha v. stricta, T. ionantha sp., and T. myosura. Other varieties of T. ionantha, as well as some other smaller cultivars might be included as well, based on our availability!

Special Instructions
The Tillandsia species we carry are strictly epiphytic and cannot be planted in substrate for any length of time. We recommend mounting them near a vent, or anywhere in an enclosure which has an abundant amount of airflow. Allow to dry out between misting sessions, and do not place this species in the direct line of a misting nozzle. This assortment of air plants includes a nice mix including inexpensive, average, and more expensive species & cultivars we work with. If you are looking to plant a vivarium or build some "showy" vivariums, this is our recommended choice. Species may include anything on this page, with at least 40% of the mix being picked from the more expensive plants (like T. brachycaulos, T. bulbosa, T. caput-medusae, T ionantha 'Fuego', T ionantha v. stricta, and T. tenuifolia 'Blue'), and the remainder being less expensive species. We might also be able to include less common species if we've got any currently in stock, but no promises. :-)

Rather than focusing on higher-value or rarity, these packs include plants which are incredibly forgiving, fast-growing, and inexpensive. Bargin Rack packs focus on the more aggressive & common houseplant style varieties which aren't generally included in our Standard & Heavy Duty packs. We consider Bargain Rack Packs appropriate for grow-outs, beginner terrariums, low-light environments, and in enclosures where more frequent plant pruning is an acceptable trade-off for ease of care & super-low pricing. These are also great for Retail Pet Shops looking to stock up on some plants for resale! While our other plant packs have a very wide potential selection, Bargain Rack Packs are usually (but not always) limited to varieties of Callisia, Epipremnum, Ficus, Hedera, Hoya, Philodendron, Tradescantia, and similar Genres. If any guarantee-eligible perishables arrive in less-than-great condition, clients must email us photos within 12 hours of receipt to qualify for coverage.
