This attractive little gadget helps maintain a healthy amount of water in potted plants. Simply fill up the (real) glass jar, gently attach the ceramic stake, and lightly bury the stake about 3/4 of the way in potting soil. Over time, water will slowly wick from the bottle through the porous ceramic, keeping your potting soil moist without over-saturation. It won't replace watering, but they will decrease how often you need to water. At around 9in overall, these mini versions are bit smaller than the comparatively giant ones sold at some garden centers, and seem appropriate for use with 6in+ pots, hanging pots, container gardens, and other larger planters.

Each scalpel is individually sealed for sterility, and the plastic handle is marked in cm increments to help ensure precise & repeatable cuttings are taken. Each scalpel has its own safety sheath.
