Where we work with and learn more about the animals & vivariums we love
We're responsible for the care of many different species of Reptiles & Amphibians. The goals behind our live animal programs are focused on understanding & perfecting the environmental needs of each species we work with. The hands-on experience gained from building & maintaining different types of live environments & attentively observing the animals within has been immensely helpful in our pursuit of recommending & creating new vivarium products for the hobby. We've experimented with many different plants, lighting solutions, substrates, microfauna, background materials, wood decor, and much more in our husbandry rooms. Designing (and helping clients design) live environments to fit an animal's precise needs is one of our primary goals, and the areas displayed below is where much of that research happens.
Note: We began scaling-back our commercial breeding programs in 2012, and discontinued them completely in 2013. For that reason, it's very uncommon for us to have live animals available for purchase. Since breeding animals isn't a priority for our business, we encourage all our clients to patronize a private breeder or rescue organization when looking to acquire a new animal.

Not every vivarium is beautiful; especially ones dedicated to testing a product we'd like to learn more about. We've got a few racks full of those at any given time, but we're not incredibly eager to show super-utilitarian plastic vivarium tubs! Still, we plan on updating this gallery as time goes on with photos of our team members hobby rooms, and of course as we continue to add displays to the shop. As of 5/2017, we've got a rack of 6 to-be-built vivariums just waiting to go... Thanks for reading & check back soon!
