We use all natural ingredients produced in North America and none from Asia. The Apricot gecko diet incorporates three complete animal based protein sources. We use microfiltered, undenatured Micellar Casein as a unique slower digesting protein source. We top that off with both Whole Egg, and Whey Protein Isolate for an incredibly complete protein combination. The Apricot crested gecko diet has a high fat content as well. Great for geckos that won't or don't eat any insects. The vitamin and mineral content is top notch to keep your geckos healthy and produces excellent growth, reproduction, and stunning egg quality. This formula is universally accepted by our entire collection and is a favorite amongst our Crested Geckos, Gargoyle Geckos, and Leachianus! We have also tested it on Day Geckos and Mourning Geckos with great results. This formula is less sticky than others, so there is less chance of it adhering to gecko toes or skin. Feed Pangea Fruit Mix™ Apricot Complete daily. Mix 1 part powder to 2 parts water, adjust to achieve desired consistency. Prepared mix is good for up to 7 days if refrigerated. We have incorporated crickets and black soldier fly larvae as the main source of protein as well as organically grown mealworms to increase the Omega fatty acid content. This formula has Twice the amount of insects as our original "With Insects" formula! Pangea Fig & Insects mixes up a bit thinner than other formulas due to there being no banana as an ingredient, but some geckos seem to enjoy this thinner mix as a result. It can be more difficult to see lick marks so we recommend offering smaller amounts to begin with so you can see it disappear.

The fruits used are a delicious blend of Bananas and Apricots that creates a feeding response similar to our other formulas. The higher fat levels help keep egg production strong throughout the breeding season. The calcium level is near the maximum level for a complete diet. It is safe and sometimes necessary to add a little plain calcium to the food if your females are becoming depleted. Alternatively, you can offer plain calcium in a dish for your females to lick from as needed. To get the most out of this diet, fresh food should be offered at least every other day during the breeding season even though there will be some waste. Smaller more frequent feedings are more appropriate for breeders than sparse feedings on which they tend to gorge themselves. Live dusted insects are optional but can be offered once or twice a week in place of Pangea Gecko Diet Breeding Formula for variety and to help keep your geckos active and stimulated.

Pangea Gecko Diet Breeding Formula was is ideally suited as a breeder formula but can be fed to geckos of all life stages. As a growth formula we have found that this formula provides optimum growth in juvenile geckos. Crested geckos still grow best with a once or twice a week cricket feeding until about 15 grams at which point live insect feedings can be cut back or eliminated. Other species such as leachianus, auriculatus, and Eurydactylodes grow nicely on this formula from the get-go.

2.5 parts water to 1 part powder. This is a thicker reptile breeder mix and is usually eaten best when mixed thick like ketchup.
